Educational/training program
The Earth and Environmental Sciences and Technologies (EEST) PhD program trains experts in advanced scientific research in the field of geosciences and environmental sciences. The EEST doctoral programme is divided into three curricula, with scientific qualifications of international excellence.
The PhD program consists in courses for doctoral students, seminars, schools, and research activities in university departments and/or research centres. Publication on national and international scientific journals and dissemination of results, as well as participation of the PhD students to conferences, workshops, etc. are strongly encouraged during the three years of the doctoral program.
As part of the PhD program, the doctoral students are involved in university tutoring, and other activities for Batchelor and Master students, within the compatibility with research activities.
All activities are carried out under the supervision of tutors, cotutors, the PhD Board and external and/or company tutors in agreement with the UniCA PhD rules.
The training project is in line with the 2022-2027 strategic plan of the University of Cagliari since it contributes to achieve the sustainable development of the territory.
