The GD-CURE Summer School on Spatial Climate Planning is organized under the umbrella of the PRIN-PNRR project “GeoDesign for Climate URban nEutrality (GD-CURE)”. Participants will learn and apply geodesign methods, techniques, and workflows using state of the art digital planning support tools applied to a multi-scale climate spatial planning case study in the Mediterranean. The Summer School program includes two geodesign workshops on climate mitigation at two scales (the Mediterranean and in Italy).

The GD-CURE Summer School on Spatial Climate Planning is organized under the umbrella of the PRIN-PNRR project “GeoDesign for Climate URban nEutrality (GD-CURE)”. Participants will learn and apply geodesign methods, techniques, and workflows using state of the art digital planning support tools applied to a multi-scale climate spatial planning case study in the Mediterranean. The Summer School program includes two geodesign workshops on climate mitigation at two scales (the Mediterranean and in Italy).

Summer School participation is free of charge, and participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion. The Summer school is open to up to thirty participants including PhD students, researchers, planning professionals and/or public officials working in spatial planning.

Chairs: Michele Campagna (University of Cagliari) and Francesco Scorza (University of Basilicata).

The selection process will be based on academic background, gender balance, geographic representation, and a first-come, first-served criterion. Admission to the summer school will be at the discretion of the organizers.
