The PhD programme in Accounting, Management and Economics is a three-year course which aims at providing students with a scientific culture and advanced techniques. The programme would also like to offer students a set of methodological instruments which are essential to deal autonomously both the usual issues of research activities, and its operationalisation within private and public economic organisations.

During the three year PhD program the PhD students will build, develop, and strengthen their knowledge in three main area, namely:

  • Accounting, Business and Management
  • Economics
  • Quantitative methods for economics and business

Moreover, thanks to the opportunity to attend highly specialized courses of other fields, students can obtain multidisciplinary knowledge and skills for dealing and solving complex problems. Educational goals

of the Program aim at training PhDs able to work in universities and in public and private corporations.

Training and research activities follow different methodologies which allow a diversified and rich learning thorugh:

• Lectures and seminars aimed at offering the foundational knowledge in the relevant fields;

• Lectures and seminars to deepen the knowledge in the three different areas of the program;

• Case studies and seminars given by researcher and practitioners;

• Periods of study and research in other institutions in Italy and abroad;

• Participation to conferences and workshops;

• Participation to thematic specialized schools;

• Stages at research institutes, corporations and public sector organizations, even abroad;

• Drafting of the PhD thesis;
