Any research activity abroad must be authorised by the PhD Board and communicated to the Settore Dottorati e Master office.<\/p>\n
Before going abroad, doctoral students must:<\/p>\n
– Apply to the Board of teachers, well in advance, for authorisation to carry out their study\/research activities abroad. The request includes travel days.<\/p>\n
– Transmit the self-certification to the Settore Dottorati e Master within 10 days from the start of the research activity abroad.<\/p>\n
Any interruption or change to the period abroad must be promptly communicated to the Settore Dottorati e Master.<\/p>\n
Upon returning to their place of residence, Doctoral students must provide to the Coordinator and to the Settore Dottorati e Master the certificate issued by the host institution certifying the period spent.<\/p>\n
The amount of the grant is increased by 50% for a total period not exceeding 12 months, extendable up to 18 months for doctorates co-tutored with foreign universities.
